We are committed to protecting your privacy. Unlike most apps, MyBudget Tracker operates entirely offline and does not require any personal information to function.

2.2 Data Stored Locally on Your Device

The App stores the following data locally on your device only:

• Financial Records: Transactions, accounts, categories, and budgets you create
• App Preferences: Theme settings, currency preferences, and reminder configurations
• Backup Files: When you create backups, they are stored on your device's storage

This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to share it (e.g., exporting a backup file or CSV).

3. How Your Data is Used

Since all data is stored locally, it is only used by the App on your device to:

• Display your financial records and summaries
• Calculate balances, budgets, and analytics
• Generate charts and reports
• Create backup files when you request them
• Export data to CSV format when you request it

4. Data Storage and Security

4.1 Local Storage

All your data is stored locally using:

• SQLite Database: Secure local database for transactions, accounts, categories, and budgets
• AsyncStorage: For app preferences and settings

4.2 Security Measures

Your data is protected by:

• Android's built-in app sandboxing (data is isolated from other apps)
• Device-level encryption (if enabled on your device)
• No network transmission (data cannot be intercepted)

4.3 Backup Files

When you create a backup file (.mbak format):

• The file is stored in your device's accessible storage
• You control where the file is saved and shared
• We recommend keeping backup files secure and not sharing them publicly

5. Data Sharing

We do not share any data because we do not have access to your data. The App operates entirely offline and does not communicate with any servers.

The only ways your data can leave your device:

• When you export data to CSV and share the file
• When you create and share a backup file
• When you use your device's share functionality

6. Third-Party Services

MyBudget Tracker does not integrate with any third-party services that collect data. Specifically:

• No analytics services (Google Analytics, Firebase, etc.)
• No advertising networks
• No crash reporting services
• No social media SDKs

7. Children's Privacy

MyBudget Tracker does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. The App can be safely used by users of all ages as no data is transmitted from the device.

8. Your Rights

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have complete control over your data:

• Access: All your data is visible within the App
• Export: You can export your data anytime using the CSV export feature
• Backup: You can create complete backups at any time
• Delete: You can delete individual records or reset all data from within the App
• Uninstall: Uninstalling the App removes all associated data from your device

9. Permissions

The App may request the following permissions:

• Storage (optional): To save and read backup files from device storage
• Notifications (optional): To send daily expense reminders if you enable them

These permissions are optional and the App functions without them (with reduced functionality for backup/reminders).

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Since we don't collect your email, we cannot notify you directly — please check this page periodically for updates.
